Family Reunion/ Pink Eye

So right now we are having the Walker family reunion and As a first time aunt I reserve the right to put up as many pictures of my niece and nephew as I would like!! these first ones are of allyse she is 9 and a half and is just adorable!!

the next ones are of Robbie he is 5 and is so funny!!

And the rest are of me and my sisters-in-law Marilyn and Kristy. and me in a canoe!!

also I got a bad case of pink eye and spent the morning at an after hours clinic. so I will hopefully have it taken care of before we go sailing tomorrow!! I love family reunions!! I will post more pictures later!!

Happy Fourth of July!!

So today was a Great day inspite of my still being sick!! We played American Idol Karoke all day on the xbox 360! Then we played on the slip-n-slide which was a BLAST!! we cooked hot dogs and roasted marshmellows in the fire pit in the back yard! So then the best part came FIREWORKS!!! any one who knows me knows that I LOVE FIREWORKS!!! Well I was kind of bummed because I didn't thing we were going to be able to see the fire works Annie, Tina, and Larysa climbed up to the Y to watch then but I have been sick and didn't feel up to the climb I layed outside in the backyard and listened to the Jonas Brothers at stadium of fire! well we decided that to see the fireworks we needed to walk to this field that is down the street from where we live we sat there for like an hour until I started coughing really bad so we decided to go home when we got home the fire works started I went out in the backyard and we had the most amazing view of the fireworks!! It was no where near as amazing as 2 years ago when we watched the thanksgiving point fireworks from Pam and Chris' backyard (That is still #1 on my list of the most amazing fireworks show I have ever seen!! and while I am on the subject Happy 1st Birthday Dutchie!!) but the view from our backyard was really great! It was a really great fourth of July!! well I am going to bed now but I haope everyone has had a really great fourth of july!!

Sorry it has been a while but life has been really busy!! but here is what has happened since last I blogged... I learned to make a 7 layer dip (which isn't too impressive but hey im proud of it!!) we got a new tv (well new to us we found it in the dumpster, but it works great) and I found out our video store has Pirates of penzance (the good one! that is one GREAT movie!! I highly suggest it!!) Well yeah so technically all of this has happened in the last week but thats about as far back as i can remember! Oh and I am SO glad Mommy is back from Texas! I missed her! Well I thought I was going to have more to write but yeah appearently my life is really boring! But i like it that way!! Oh on friday I am going to manti to go to pageant that is exciting!! Ok now that is about all that has happened!! or that is going to happen!! If I think of anything else I will post again!!

Unlikely Angel!

So today Tina and I were driving from Salt Lake down to Provo! With my parents being in Uruguay we needed to take care of the cat. We were Halfway there we had just passed the IKEA when suddenly the car infront of us swerved out we couldn't swerve in time to miss the huge cement block that was in the middle of the road. Our front tire on the drivers side hit the cement block and burst my first thought was a prayer for help Tina was driving and traffic was bad but she was able to swerve and then we made it all the way through three lanes of traffic with no problem. The pop was really loud and then there was a grinding THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP as we drove. when we made it to the side of the road I grabbed my cell phone and called dallin to come and help us. (This was the first time I have ever wished I had listened to daddy when he tried to teach me to change a tire.) We were trying to figure out what to do when it seemed out of nowhere a truck appeared in front of us. A man with long hair, grungy clothes, earings, and tattoos got out of the truck and asked us if we had a spare tire tina said she didn't think we did but I knew it was under the floor in the trunk he told us he would pull his truck forward and that we needed to pull further off the road. We did and he came and changed our tire for us. He told us exactly what we needed to do and then he went to help the next person. He did not expect anything in return there are not many people who would take the time out of their day to stop and help people who are stranded on the side of the highway on a hot day. He will never know how grateful we are that he stopped to help us today. He was truly an answer to my prayers and is an angel in my eyes. We counted 13 cars that were pulled over changing tires but there were no accidents we were the first car to hit it. I don't know how it got there but it could have been alot worse then it was, the police closed off all of southbound i-15 for long enough to clear this huge cement block. I feel so blessed that heavenly father was watching over us today. I know that heavenly father sends angels to help us when we are in need of it and I know that this man was sent to help us today he is truly an unlikely angel to me. I hope that someday I can thank him for what he did for me today!

Our Family Is Growing!

Yes you Guessed it! I AM PREGNANT!! I haven't posted in a while because I wasn't ready for the whole world to know (and I knew I wouldn't be able to keep it in) But then I figured its really only family who reads this and I am just SO excited! I am still not far along so it will be awhile but we are all so thrilled! I know the word was starting to leak out so I wanted to make sure people are hearing it from me! Dallin and I both love children and we have both always wanted a family of our own! This will be the first grandchild on my side of the family and by the time I have the baby it will be the 6th on my husbands side! I am so happy with my life right now with Jay coming home in just over a week and the baby on the way our family is just bursting with excitement! I have been sick and am tired all the time but I am loving every minute of it! I will keep you updated on my pregnancy!

I WAS DISCOVERED!!

So about an hour ago Tina and I were walking through the wal-mart in Lindon (I think thats where it is!) and a lady came up to us and asked us what we thought about the High School Musical movies. We said they were kind of cheesy but we really like them especially the first one. She then asked us if we had ever thought about acting we said no. she then asked if it was something we didn't want to do or if we just hadn't thought about it. We said we had just never thought about it! She told us that she was one of the people who casted high school musical and that they were having some auditions for a similar movie and would we like to audition. we said yeah that it sounded like fun. she said we were cute and had a cute nice look! her job is pretty much just to look for people who would fit the parts for movies! It was pretty much one of the most exciting things that has ever happened to me! cause things like that dont just happen!
