Quiet moment

This morning Thomas came home from the hospital. Jay and Jared are sleeping right now and everyone else is gone so it is just him and I. Thomas is asleep too I love just laying here holding a sleeping baby it is so peaceful. I really want one of my own but until then it is nice to be able to hold this new little miracle. I wish jay could sleep better though every time he starts whimpering Jay comes to make sure he is ok but i guess that comes with being a mom. I can't wait to have my own.

Fingers Crossed

I went for a job interview yesterday for a great job at intermountain that i didn't think i had a chance of getting well today they called and told me that the interviewers loved me and they are checking my references!! I am still trying not to get my hopes up because I have no CNA experience and intermountain usually doesn't hire you unless you have 6-12 months experience but I am just hoping all goes well and that I get the job!! So I am keeping my fingers crossed and handing this over to the lord!! whatever happens happens and i have done all I can do!! But prayers would be greatly appreciated!!

Wonderful day!!

Today was a wonderful day!! This morning we went to the Primary Childrens Medical Center for sacrament that is always a wonderful experience there is such a sweet spirit there! Afterwards they asked me if I could help teach primary I was so excited to have the opportunity to do that I did nursery so we went around and sang primary songs with the children they were so sweet and so full of love and hope we taught 2 kids who were both in the hospital for seperate things but they are both in the process of being adopted by the same family I was so touched by that mother and father and how willing they are to open their home to these special needs children. They have 3 other children at home. Another little girl had a serious stroke 2 days before general conference but she is already gaining most of her movement back she was so independent and didn't want anyone to do anything for her. I love to go and see these families their faith is so strong I feel like my testimony is strengthened just by being around them!

After church we had a bar-b-que with alot of our friends out in the court! It was so fun we were out there for like 6 hours we have so many good friends here the weather was nice and we just had a good time talking and playing games! I love living here you can just walk outside and as soon as people look out and see you more people come out and then you have a fun get together! it is almost always the same people who come out those of us who have been here more than 2 years! We are having an adults only easter egg hunt on friday night because we decided it is not fair that the kids get 3 this year and we get none it should be awesome!! I am so happy here it was just a good day!!

it has been a beautiful day!! I have spent alot of time out side today I love this weather!! It is making me happy!

Thank you Governor Herbert!!

On Wednesday the governor vetoed the bill that would make us go back to a five day work week!! We get to keep our 4 day work weeks!! That made me very happy!!

8 Days!!

I only have 8 days until I go to Las Vegas! I am so excited! I have already started packing! I just can't wait. I am getting a new camera that is supposed to come either tomorrow or Friday! So i will be able to take lots and lots of pictures of everyone I am going to see while I am there! I really want it to be next Thursday so we can just go! We had such a great time when we were there 2 years ago! I am going to go swimming while I am there (I don't even care if it is too cold)! But I don't think Las Vegas ever gets too cold! I just looked and their low today is still warmer than our hi! It would be so nice to live somewhere where you never get cold! I am always cold! and I just cant even tell you how excited I am to see Heidi and her family and to meet her new baby! And to see Courtney I haven't seen her in almost 3 years and I get to see Marilyn and Wes!! I can't wait! 8 days is way too long! I still have so much to do before we go though! And we are only going to be there for a few days so I have to figure out how we are going to fit everything in! I need to email the people we are going to see and figure out when we can see them! I really can't wait!! This is going to be a long 8 days!!
