working out...

tonight dallin and I went to the u of u's student gym. It is so annoying to work out with my husband, he is so skinny. but when we are working out on machines that are next to each other I cant help but look over and see how many calories he is burning compared to the amount I am burning! he was always like 50 calories above me. needless to say it was annoying and I may have to work out by myself from now on!

The Viewing

Last night was the first viewing for grandma stephens being there last night you could see what a loved woman she was. She touched so many lives through her service in the church and the community. She was beautiful loving and she had a gift of never complaining about anything that came her way. I love her so much and will miss her greatly in the coming years. even though she was very sick all the time I knew her I learned so much from her. about just being happy with what god gives you. she loved all of her grandchildren so much and we all loved her. it was comforting in the end to know that her husband was there with her even though he had passed on a year before he was by her side, along with my father in law, and all of the other members of her family who had passed on before. last night she looked more at peace than i have ever seen her and I didn't feel anxious to be there like I thought I would I felt surprisingly peaceful to see all of the pain gone from her face and to know that she is now at peace.

Allis Stephens

Yesterday the world lost an amazing woman. My husbands grandmother Allis Stephens passed away. In the end she was ready to return home to her eternal companion and her heavenly father. She lived a good life she was loved by all who knew her and she will be missed. I am proud to call her my Grandma Stephens.

Our anniversary!!

So we just got back from our anniversary trip we went up to Providence, Ut it is pretty much connected to Logan. We stayed at this great little bed and breakfast it was really cute they gave us a Key for our room not one of those cards that everyplace has now but a real metal key! It was called the Providence Inn (http://www.providenceinn.com/) and they had a REALLY good breakfast I am not a huge french toast fan but theirs was really good! It was a VERY charming place in a fun area! we went to the temple which was really nice. and just relaxed for the weekend. this morning we went to a singles ward with my husbands friend Teancum (does that name sound familiar? try the Book of Mormon) the girl who spoke gave a REALLY REALLY REALLY energetic talk it was good just loud! Oh and dallin bought me a dozen red roses on friday they are so pretty he surprised me with them! I have a wonderful husband!

on a different note we just got called as nursery workers so now I have a 42 hour a week job!! It will be good we are looking forward to it but we will really miss our old calling!

Happy Anniversary to ME!!!

One year ago today I married the man of my dreams!! I am so glad I married him this has been the best year of my life! It has gone by so fast!! I cant wait to spend forever with him!!

Working Girl!!

So A few weeks ago I found out one of the girls I work with was going to be quiting (today was her last day) I talked to my Penny (one of the bosses) And told her I would be interested in the full time position well she said she would tell her husband Derrick. Well about a week and a half passed and I hadn't heard anything. Then when I got back from my day off last monday I found out they had given the job to someone else. I was really disapointed after all of the extra hours I had put in this past month they gave the job to someone else. well I was really disapointed until 2 days ago when I got an email about a job that just oppened up in the apartment complex where I live It would work into my schedule and I thought great I will apply for this job and see what happens with that. well after thinking about it I decided to talk to penny one more time and find out if there was ANY chance of me going full time soon and if there wasn't I was going to start looking for an afternoon job so I couldn't put in the extra hours anymore. she told me that she thought Derrick had been planning on putting me full time and that she would talk to him and then let me know that was yesterday. well today derrick didn't say anything to me about it so I thought penny had forgotten, wel as I was leaving today Derrick came to give me my paycheck and he said that Penny had told him that I was ready to go full time. And I said yes if I could that would be great! and he said Can you start monday!! I said what? he repeated his question and I said Yeah that would be great He gave me a choice of 3 schedules I am so excited!! I have been there like 6 months now! and I am so happy because this is a Benefited position!! I am SO happy!

Pink Eye... Again

I just woke up with bad pink eye in the other eye... I dont know what to do this is seriously the 20th time I have had it in the last month! and that truely is NOT an exageration!
