Wonderful day!!

Today was a wonderful day!! This morning we went to the Primary Childrens Medical Center for sacrament that is always a wonderful experience there is such a sweet spirit there! Afterwards they asked me if I could help teach primary I was so excited to have the opportunity to do that I did nursery so we went around and sang primary songs with the children they were so sweet and so full of love and hope we taught 2 kids who were both in the hospital for seperate things but they are both in the process of being adopted by the same family I was so touched by that mother and father and how willing they are to open their home to these special needs children. They have 3 other children at home. Another little girl had a serious stroke 2 days before general conference but she is already gaining most of her movement back she was so independent and didn't want anyone to do anything for her. I love to go and see these families their faith is so strong I feel like my testimony is strengthened just by being around them!

After church we had a bar-b-que with alot of our friends out in the court! It was so fun we were out there for like 6 hours we have so many good friends here the weather was nice and we just had a good time talking and playing games! I love living here you can just walk outside and as soon as people look out and see you more people come out and then you have a fun get together! it is almost always the same people who come out those of us who have been here more than 2 years! We are having an adults only easter egg hunt on friday night because we decided it is not fair that the kids get 3 this year and we get none it should be awesome!! I am so happy here it was just a good day!!

it has been a beautiful day!! I have spent alot of time out side today I love this weather!! It is making me happy!

Thank you Governor Herbert!!

On Wednesday the governor vetoed the bill that would make us go back to a five day work week!! We get to keep our 4 day work weeks!! That made me very happy!!

8 Days!!

I only have 8 days until I go to Las Vegas! I am so excited! I have already started packing! I just can't wait. I am getting a new camera that is supposed to come either tomorrow or Friday! So i will be able to take lots and lots of pictures of everyone I am going to see while I am there! I really want it to be next Thursday so we can just go! We had such a great time when we were there 2 years ago! I am going to go swimming while I am there (I don't even care if it is too cold)! But I don't think Las Vegas ever gets too cold! I just looked and their low today is still warmer than our hi! It would be so nice to live somewhere where you never get cold! I am always cold! and I just cant even tell you how excited I am to see Heidi and her family and to meet her new baby! And to see Courtney I haven't seen her in almost 3 years and I get to see Marilyn and Wes!! I can't wait! 8 days is way too long! I still have so much to do before we go though! And we are only going to be there for a few days so I have to figure out how we are going to fit everything in! I need to email the people we are going to see and figure out when we can see them! I really can't wait!! This is going to be a long 8 days!!

Disappointed

I am really disappointed right now! I applied for a job with Intermountain as a phlebotomist and I was so positive that I would get it! It seemed so perfect! I went in and interviewed and I just felt like it would work out but i just found out i didn't get it. I feel like things just aren't working out the way they are supposed to. I am having a really hard time with this. I wanted this job so bad I felt like I would get it! I am having a hard time accepting the fact that i didn't get the job. It is so hard for me to see the lords will in this! I am really sad right now! But now I am looking forward even more to going to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks and seeing Heidi and her family and my friend Courtney and Dallins sister and her family! I really just need to get away for a while! I am just so disappointed right now!

Dallins Birthday!!

Yesterday was Dallin's 26th birthday!! he had to go to work at 7:30 and didn't get home until almost 5! So at 5 we went to dinner at The Spaghetti Factory! It was so yummy! Dallin got a cream soda so he got to keep his glass! Then we went to Williams Sonoma and I got Dallin some Star Wars shaped pancake molds! They are so cute! I need to make Dallin some pancakes! Then we just walked around some of the other shops at trolley square! After that we went miniature golfing at the place we went on our first date 3 years ago! It was fun but i don't understand why parents don't watch their kids anymore! there were little kids just running around everywhere so it was impossible to actually know who won the game because kids just kept running around golfing on the hole we were on!! I was a little annoyed! Then we went and got tickets to the new Chronicles of Narnia movie! It was really good but it seemed like the conflict would NEVER end! I did really like it though! There are a lot of similarity's with LDS Doctrine and i think that is cool! I didn't know there was going to be a new annoying kid in the movie Dallin said the kid is really annoying in the book too so that was just how his character is! But overall I think Dallin had a really good birthday!!
