Las Vegas!

So last week My husband and I went to las vegas for spring break. We had so much fun, but the best part by far was our visit with my cousin Heidi and her family we went over at about 7 on saturday night and we were there until about 11 I felt bad that we kept them so late but we absolutely loved seeing them. Her family is so amazing and I loved getting to know them again. I also really liked the fountains at the bellagio, it was the last night of our trip andI hadn't seen them yet. Everyone kept telling me I had to see them so after we left Heidi's we went and saw the fountains and they were amazing I am so glad we went because they were beautiful!

Evacuation!!

So today I was evacuated from my home! It was scary I knew i was in no danger but still it was something I never thought would happen to me. There were some workers digging less than a mile away and they hit a natural gas line the whole university of utah campus was evacuated. I left before the fire department came and told me to because knowing me I would have cried when they came because I was home alone and scared so when I saw the firetruck pull up and people start leaving I grabbed water bottles, cell phone chargers, and some food and jumped in my car and left before I could be told not to use my car. I dont know why I grabbed those things because I was not going to the evacuation center at east high but in an emergency those are the things I grabbed along with three coats and 2 hoodies which it wasn't even cold today so I can only assume I was not thinking straight. I went and got Dallin and we went to his aunt and uncles house in north salt lake to wait out the evacuation. they fed us and let us watch the news until the evacuation was lifted around 8. I knew our home would be safe and that we would be fine but still when you are smelling gas that strongly and you are told to leave your home there is a terrible feeling that runs through your body. We are home now and everything is fine but that is one experience that I hope I never have to go through again.

Whats the point...

Would someone please enlighten me on the purpose of St. Patricks day? Becase so far the only things I have come up with are that it is an excuse to inflict physical pain on people, to get drunk, and to throw a beer can at the side of my nice car (which I am still really mad about!!!) all while wearing the color green! oh well thursday I will be in Las Vegas and I CAN'T WAIT!! but if someone could tell me why we celebrate this day please let me know!

Marley and Me

So today my husband and I both had the day off work so we decided to go to the dollar theater there were three movies that we wanted to see Madagascar 2 , Twilight, and Marley and Me. We decided on Marley and Me I had wanted to see this since it first came out! I had read about it on kids-in-mind.com and so I wasn't sure but I really wanted to see it so we went. I must say I was pleasently surprised! I loved it it was so cute I cried the whole movie! there were a few parts that could have been left out but for the most part it was a really good movie! I don't like dogs but that movie really made me want a dog. That dog was terrible so I don't know why it made me want one it just did! the movie started on the couples wedding day and ended with the dogs funeral. and because of everything this couple went through they grew stronger as a couple and fell more in love as the movie went on. I thought this was the best roll I had ever seen Jennifer Aniston play the whole cast was wonderful! earlier this week we had gone to see "He's Just Not That Into You" with my sister and I was very disapointed I really didn't like it so I was glad to see a movie that I really liked!

Job Details!

It is the First Steps Preschool/Daycare. They take care of kids between the ages of 6 weeks through kindergarten. I will be teaching the 2-4 year olds! It is located in the Department of Health building so all of the parents work in that building so the parents come down and play with their kids whenever they get a break. I will work from 7:30-12:30 Monday through Thursday because they are always closed on Friday and weekends. And I can still go to school in the afternoons which is what I wanted. The daycare is run by a married couple so it had a very warm feeling when I went in for my interview. There are 2 other teachers for that age group so every week we rotate teaching Music, Art, and Circle Time. So if any of you moms have any ideas please let me know. I will start on tuesday because they are closed on monday for presidents day. I am so happy about this it just feels so perfect for me! It is absolutely everything i was looking for in a job!

I GOT THE JOB!!!

The Preschool that I interviewed with last week finally called me today and I GOT THE JOB!!! I am so Excited right now!! It seemed like the perfect job for me the hours just everything and when i didn't hear on tuesday I assumed the worst! But Then THEY CALLED!! and i was still expecting to not get it but i was pleasently surprised!! I start on tuesday morning! I CANT WAIT!! Thank you everyone for your prayers!! I know that they helped!!

Searching for a job...

Searching for a job is so stressfull! especially with the way the job market is right now. I have been searching for months and still have not found a job! I have applied to so many places that i cant even count them. I was told that I would hear back on a job today but never did! It is very discouraging to keep feeling rejected. It really makes me feel less confidant with each interview. I really thought I would get the job i was supposed to hear from today but I will just keep looking and applying where ever I can find and eventually I will hear back and get a job! Its just so hard to face so much rejection! And maybe if im lucky I will hear back from those people tomorrow!
